A reason behind every recommendation

We start with what a product offers, who may enjoy it and what might make it a poor fit. Manufacturer descriptions sit alongside Kidshapp’s editorial interpretation, so you can tell facts from our judgment.

A small, honest start

Kidshapp covers toys and play, books and reading, school essentials, and mealtime gear. Source checks and limitations are visible on each product page. Private preview examples are clearly labeled and have not been hands-on tested. Products must pass editorial and image-rights review before public publication.

Age is a starting point

We link to manufacturer age guidance when verified. If a fact is missing, we say so. A product’s age label is not a promise that it suits every child; consider their interests and the manufacturer’s instructions and warnings.

Editorial independence

Commission availability does not decide which products appear or how they rank. Affiliate support for Amazon, Target and Walmart is being prepared. It remains off until program approval. When active, affiliate links will be identified beside purchasing options.

Private by default

Kidshapp is for adults. We do not ask for children’s names, birthdays, photos or contact information. Age and shopping preferences are optional. Lists belong to the signed-in adult and are stored on the server.

Creating a sharing link deliberately makes a list viewable to people with that link and site access. Turn sharing off to revoke it immediately. Shared pages show the title and products, not account information. Avoid child-identifying details in list names or suggestions.

Kidshapp accounts use Apple or Google through Supabase Auth once provider setup is complete. Supabase processes account identifiers and sign-in details; saved lists stay in Kidshapp’s database. The current private testing site has a separate owner access gate. No advertising or analytics trackers are installed by Kidshapp. Retailer links take you to sites with their own privacy policies.
